Coaching Review: Defense
This kind of thing makes me happy. The GAA took the time to write up some useful, immediately applicable notes on defense and built a 30 second video highlighting proper defense in recent Championship matches. Resources for Gaelic football clubs can be scarce, particularly outside of Ireland. One thing that can be hard to find is experience.
The GAA is showing some proper vision in creating the coaching section on their new website. It shows a more developed vision from headquarters and a commitment to using the web for more than just reporting results and announcing fixture times. I have to say 'Well done' to the GAA because Lord knows they've heard enough crap since the Leinster Championship!
