Conor Counihan 'Guides' Cork to Victory

Cork's comeback yesterday against Dublin got me thinking.  This wasn't the first time things had mysteriously gone Cork's way while Conor Counihan was at the helm.  The Cork manager was also in charge when two ridiculous late goals against Kerry in the 2008 Semi-final earned Cork a replay which they absolutely did not deserve.  That day, the vast majority of Cork supporters had left Croke Park in disgust with their stupid red cowboy hats in hand long before the goals.

As I pondered these and a few other improbable victories I began to wonder if there was something I could attribute all this good fortune to...a singular source of Cork's strength...a Force perhaps.  That is when it dawned on me: Conor Counihan is a direct descendent of Yoda.  The family resemblance is clear.  See for yourself.

So the next time you see a Rebel shot drifting wide or another of Donncha O'Connor's penalty kicks miraculously hitting the post and bouncing into the back of the net, look to Counihan who with concentration and a flick of the wrist guides those O'Neill's size 5's to their target.

You got a better way to explain what happened yesterday?
